Signyan Design delivers Canopée Café and Sihai Club

Design of the sales office in Huguang, Chongqing, China

Signyan Design has recently completed work on its latest project in Chongqing, China.This project consists of Canopée Café and Sihai Club, and stands up and down along the mountainous area, integrating into the “l(fā)adder style” traditional mountain blocks in Chongqing. It adjoins Huguang Club and overlooks East Watergate. In Xie Ke’s opinion, it is “the only place close to my childhood memory in Chongqing”.

尚壹揚設(shè)計工作室最近完成了位于中國重慶的最新項目。這組建筑項目由Canopée Café樹冠咖啡和四海會館組成，依山地起落，上下延伸，融入了重慶傳統(tǒng)山地街區(qū)的“云梯式”建筑風(fēng)格。它毗鄰湖廣會館，俯瞰東水門。在謝柯看來，它是“重慶城里僅存的貼近兒時記憶的地方”。

The origin and starting point of the current design are the past and the prior urban status. Xie Ke and Zhu Jianping “understood each other at first sight” as a result of the agreement on urban renewal. Via design, they contributed to an urban renewal initiative.

當(dāng)前會館設(shè)計的起源和出發(fā)點是過去的時光和城市留存的狀態(tài)。謝柯和朱建平“一見如故”，因為他們對城市更新的共同認(rèn)同。以設(shè)計為媒，介入一場城市更新。

Instead of emphasizing the “sales nature” of the sales office, Xie Ke and the owner, Shenzhen Licheng, opted to build a proper cafe and a clubhouse. Without a question, this is a risk. Yet, the daily average coffee sales of 200 cups and the countless images shared on social media have shown that Xie and Zhu were 100% correct.

謝柯和業(yè)主深圳里城不強調(diào)售樓處的“銷售性質(zhì)”，而選擇建造了一個合適的咖啡廳和會所。毫無疑問，這是一種風(fēng)險，一場賭博。然而，每天平均200杯的咖啡銷售和無數(shù)在社交媒體上分享的圖片表明，謝柯和朱建平是正確的。

01.This project is more than design.

這個項目不僅僅是設(shè)計。

If the “relationships” between people and cities, communities, life… in memory are interrupted and reshaped by urbanization, people seem to be duckweed without roots.

如果城市化打斷和重新塑造了人與城市、社區(qū)、生活等方面的“關(guān)系”，人們就像沒有根的浮萍。因此，在城市更新中，除了設(shè)計美學(xué)外，還需要考慮人的需求和情感訴求，以重建人與城市、社區(qū)、生活等之間的聯(lián)系。只有這樣，城市才能成為真正意義上的人居環(huán)境，而不是簡單的建筑和設(shè)施的堆砌。
