改造后的后院別有意趣，枯山水的禪意淡泊寧靜。新造混凝土墻體及樓梯與原有山墻相銜接，赤裸冷冽。拾級而上，陽光透過圓孔，將光與影的虛實(shí)之美發(fā)揮到極致。

The transformedbackyard has uniqueinterest and charm; the Zen of Japanese rock garden creates anindifferent andtranquil atmosphere. The new concrete wall andstaircase linked up tothe original gable are naked and cold. As oneascends the stairs,sunlight comes inthrough round holes, which brings out the greatest beauty of light and shadow.
